Age: Recommendations for Mammography: Women at Average Risk for Developing Breast Cancer
Over 50 Years : All women over the age of 50 years should have annual mammography examination.
40-50 Years : The Indian Cancer Society recommends annual mammograms for women in this age group. The national cancer institute recommends that these women get a mammogram every 1-2 year. Your physician should offer appropriate guidance on this issue according to your personal medical history.
Under 40 Years : Most women under the age of 40 years do not need annual mammograms. However a baseline mammogram may be done at 35 years

Cone beam images provide an undistorted and accurate dimensional view of the jaws. Due to the fact that the CBCT images are reformatted slices of the maxilla and mandible, they are free of magnification, superimposition of neighboring structures, and other problems inherent to conventional panoramic radiology. This results in very clear images that better depict the anatomy of teeth and jaws.
TMJ (Jaw Joint) Imaging
CBCT has emerged as a cost- and dose-effective imaging modality for the diagnostic assessment of a variety of TMJ (Temporo-mandibular Joint) conditions. The imaging modality has been found to be superior to conventional radiographical examinations.
With CBCT imaging of the TMJ we can actually visualize both pathology and anatomy in high-resolution thin slice grayscale views, 3-D color reconstructed views and even more detailed views using virtual endoscopy and specialized software.
Radiographic interpretation of the temporo-mandibular joint complex including the condyle using CBCT imaging allows clinicians to find more subtle osteoarthritic changes such as subchondral cysts, subchondral sclerosis, osteophyte formation, surface erosion and bony remodeling consistently and with more certainty to make their clinical decision-making simpler.
The lateral cephalogram is a profile x-ray of the skull and soft tissues and is typically used in Orthodontics (Braces treatment) to assess the relation of the teeth in the jaws, the relation of the jaws to the skull and the relation of the soft tissues to the teeth and jaws. In children, growth predictions can be made and we can also determine the changes that have occured with treatment. In adults, treatment can be predicted with varying degrees of accuracy and results quantified.

MRI, is a technique used in radiology to visualize in detail the internal structures of the body. It provides excellent contrast among various soft tissues of the body, and is very useful in imaging the brain, nerves, spine, joints, bones, muscles, blood vessels, chest, breast, heart, abdomen and pelvis including the rectum, prostate, uterus and ovaries.
